Worn Leather Couch? Shine It Up With Shoe Polish

If your leather couch lost its shine and is now grungy, you can buy those expensive leather cleaners which really didn’t work for my couch. So, i found my old shoe polish kit which has a brown cream which matches my couch. Applied it and let it dry to a haze then buffed it with the brush. My couch needed a couple of applications but the shine came back. Just needed a good elbow grease to buff it.

So if you have a couch or even any leather goods like purses, belt, wallet, leather car seats, you can always try to buff it with a shoe polish and see if it works. You might want to try a small area first just to make sure you like the results.

If you have a leather couch or goods that are not black or brown, there is also a tan or even a neutral or clear shoe polish that will do the job. By the way, if your leather couch or leather car seat is matte, then this hack is not for you. This is only if you want your leather to have that shine again.
