Today, I’ll be checking out and installing an outdoor rated contact sensor for the Ring Alarm. I’ll be installing this in my side wooden gate so that I will be notified when somebody opens or closes the gate.

We will be able to monitor who comes in to our side and backyard. I’ll also be making an Alexa Routine so that there will be an announcement every time the gate opens. I’ll show you a quick unboxing, setup, install and routine setup in this video.
