Today, I’m going to make my first generation Eufy Smart Lock Touch Bluetooth model…SMARTER..and that is..adding Eufy’s multifunctional WI-FI bridge..to unlock other features of their smart lock like able to lock and unlock your door from the app even if you are at the other side of the globe. But, the main reason why I want WIFI integration with a smart lock is the notifications. I want to get notified when somebody locks or unlocks the door, when the lock is jammed or when somebody triggers the wrong try protection feature.

This WIFI bridge is not just for the smart locks though, it is also a doorbell chime and can be an additional chime or you can even setup Eufy’s battery doorbells or their Eufy Cam series cameras. This WI-FI bridge has a micro SD card slot so that motion events from connected cameras can be saved and viewed. Eufy’s sensors can also be paired with this WIFI hub.

So, we will do a quick unboxing, set it up and check out the settings in the app. So, if you have purchased Eufy’s first generation of their Bluetooth smart lock last year, now you can add WIFI integration on them and make them more versatile.
