Today, we will talk about security camera’s FOV or field of view and how it relates to the video clarity of the footage that you are going to get.

When WIFI cameras started getting popular, they also started making them with wide angle lenses so as to be able to see more but with the expense of video clarity. I’ll demo on how 3 Reolink cameras with the same 4K sensor but with 3 different lenses have different video clarity at farther distances. I’ll also be comparing it with the Wyze Cam OG Telephoto 3X (still 1080P) and see how it stacks up with Reolink 4K cameras.
