Amazon Echo Show VS Google Nest Hub For WiFi Camera Streaming

Today, we will be checking and testing out which smart displays from Amazon which has the Echo Show and from Google which they have the Google Nest Hub would be a good option to stream live view footage from your WiFi cameras.

I’ll also tell you the main issue of using Wi-Fi cameras that are not owned by Amazon or Google….and this is latency.. . I’ll be showing you how long the latency or the delay on these cameras which I think is pretty significant that I’m not going to say that it goes to Live View… This latency issue is present on all WIFI cameras that are not made by Amazon or Google. The brands that I have tested that have this delay are Wyze cameras, Eufy, Reolink and Arlo but this is not limited to these brands.

If you don’t want any delays or latency in the streaming then your best option would be to get Wi-Fi cameras that are owned by Amazon..which are Ring and Blink cameras or if you have the Google Nest Hub, then Nest cameras.

There is another issue aside from latency which I’ll show on the video but also I’ll be showing which platform… amazon Alexa or Google Home have more options in the settings on their connected devices.
